We finally went to the Louvre. What a spectacular museum. We got there around noon and saw a line for tickets that stretched to the end of the plaza. So we went to the underground mall where we found another way to get tickets and enter the louvre in much less time. Meanwhile Abby and I checked out the stores as Joe waited in line. They have Virgin books/records, Lalique, Swarofsky, L'espirit clothes and other great stores. Not like the american malls no abercrombie and fitch. So we got our tickets around 1:30 and decided to have lunch - priorities!!!! The food court is amazing!!!! They have nationalities of food not like Panda express: the choices are Pattiserie, French, Spanish, Asian, Mediterranean, Moroccan. The museum was packed today!!!! We perservered and saw Mona Lisa, Winged Victory, Napoleon III's apartment, Statues and lots of Dutch paintings. A fabulous museum. I am attaching some photos from my phone so I hope you enjoy them.
